The grapes are carefully selected from the best vineyard terraces in Central Valais.

Climate

2010 was characterized by abrupt climate changes that played a crucial role throughout the winegrowing season. Dry weather and very high temperatures in April were followed by a cool phase in the first half of May. Another cool period followed in mid-June when the grape vines on the terraces at middle elevation were in full bloom. The end of summer saw average temperatures. Mild conditions in September and October favored a healthy harvest and perfectly ripe grapes.
